AI EDH deck analysis

Analyze Your Commander Deck

DeckOS reads your entire 100-card list the way an experienced Commander player would: it counts what matters, spots what is missing, and explains why each finding affects how your deck actually plays at the table.

What the analyzer looks at

A decklist is more than a pile of good cards. Whether a deck works depends on how its pieces fit together across a full game, from your opening hand to the turn you try to win. DeckOS breaks the list into the building blocks that decide that outcome and scores each one in context of your commander.

  • Mana curve — how many spells you can cast on turns two through five, and whether the top end is too heavy.
  • Ramp and fixing — rocks, land ramp and cost reducers, plus whether your colors are actually castable.
  • Card draw and advantage — repeatable engines versus one-shot refills.
  • Interaction — spot removal, board wipes, counterspells and graveyard hate.
  • Synergy and engines — the cards that feed your commander and each other.
  • Combos and win conditions — how the deck closes a game, and how many routes it has.
  • Weaknesses — the gaps an opponent can exploit, like a single-threat plan or no answers to artifacts.

Findings that come with reasons

Many tools stop at a chart or a list of popular cards. DeckOS is built around explanations. If the analysis says your deck is short on draw, it tells you which cards are doing that job today, why that count is low for your curve, and what kind of card would close the gap. If it flags a strength, it explains which interactions create it so you know what to protect when you make changes.

That makes the result useful whether you are tuning a precon for the first time or polishing a list you have played for years. You see the reasoning, so you can disagree with it, adjust it, or learn from it.

Bring your list from wherever you build

You can paste a plain-text decklist straight into DeckOS, one card per line with optional quantities. DeckOS also supports importing public decks from popular builders such as Moxfield and Archidekt when the source allows it. Card names are matched against Scryfall data, so set codes and minor spelling differences are handled for you.

Logged out? You can paste your list on the homepage first. When you create a free account, your analysis starts automatically, so nothing you typed is lost.

What you get back

Every analysis includes a deck health score, an estimated bracket with the reasons behind it, category counts, a short description of your deck's identity, and clear lists of strengths and weaknesses. From there you can move straight into fixing problems with the Deck Doctor, tuning the list with optimization, or checking how it stacks up against the rest of your playgroup with the Pod Analyzer.

Results are saved to your account, so you can return to them later or share a summary card with your group without running the analysis again.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Commander deck analyzer free?

Yes. The free plan includes 5 AI actions every month, and opening saved results never uses that allowance.

Which decklist formats are supported?

Plain text with one card per line works everywhere. Public Moxfield and Archidekt links can be imported when those sites allow access.

Does it only work for high-power decks?

No. The analysis is tuned to the bracket and goals of your deck, from casual precons to optimized tables.
